Made my First Christmas dinner!  I'm not partial the being in the kitchen so I decided to challenge myself this year and make a full meal.  I made many of the dishes in the days leading up to Xmas.  I left the turkey for the day of....looks great in the photo but we did have to pop it back in the oven for a little bit :( The turkey wasn't a total success but after a little more time in the oven the whole meal was ready and pretty tasty if I do say so myself.

This is my first time watching American Idol past the auditions.  I have to say I'm enjoying the show except for one not so little aspect of the show.  Just how old do you have to get before the words "Yo dawg or Yo and/or Dawg as two separate entities" shouldn't be apart of your vocabulary??  I'm thinking....that Randy Jackson has long surpassed what ever that age is.  How do we get the word out to Randy that he's just not that kinda cool anymore (not that 'Yo dawg' was ever cool in my book).  Please if you have any connections to Randy and are possibly reading my measly blog, whisper this in his ear...."You've gotten far too old to still be saying Yo and Dawg, let it go".

Hello All,

I’m new to this blogging stuff but I thought I’d give it a try after suggestions from friends and family.  Just to give a little insight.  I recently moved to the United Kingdom with my husband.  Being new to this ever so lovely country I have quite a bit of time on my hands.  So in this spare time I have developed a love for playing with make up. I’ll post some swatches of colors and possibly some pics of a look I put together.
